At the Rectory we seek to remember and retell the story of the Wesley family in its 18th century setting while also upholding its contemporary relevance. With assistance from FRIENDS we can further enhance and develop the Rectory and the facilities we have.

The FRIENDS of Epworth Old Rectory are spread throughout the world united by their enthusiasm for the Old Rectory and its history. Led by a group of volunteers in Epworth – The Friends Development Group - FRIENDS of the Old Rectory help to maintain, strengthen, and develop this beautiful heritage site while enabling the story of the remarkable Wesley family to be interpreted.

As a FRIEND you could help to preserve and share our heritage by:

• financially supporting the running of the Rectory by giving an annual donation and helping to raise much needed funds.
• encouraging individuals and groups you belong to or know of to visit the Rectory and acting whenever possible as an advocate.
• attending or becoming involved in our regular events.
• sending contributions - articles, photographs - to our Newsletters.
• if local, perhaps becoming a volunteer at the Rectory, welcoming visitors, working with school groups, being a tour guide or helping in the shop or garden.
