Volunteering

Why not consider supporting the work of Epworth Old Rectory by becoming a volunteer? There are several different opportunities:

• Leading guided tours of the house (training will be provided)
• Welcoming people when they arrive and serving customers in the gift shop (sales and reception)
• Helping in the garden
• Helping with maintenance
• Helping with the care of the collection

The only qualifications needed are enthusiasm, friendliness, reliability, and a willingness to learn and meet new and fascinating people from all over the world!

Donate to Epworth Old Rectory

Epworth Old Rectory is a registered charity (number 1140335). We rely on funds from supporters, Friends and churches in order to sustain our work. Our development project can only go ahead if we can generate sufficient additional funding. Would you consider supporting our work? There are a number of ways of doing this:

• Make a personal donation. You can do this through MyDonate, paypal, send a cheque made payable to 'Epworth Old Rectory', or telephone us with your credit card details. If you are a UK tax payer, we can reclaim the tax paid on your donation through gift aid. Please download a form here and return it with your donation.
• Speak to your church community and ask whether they would like to make a donation.
• Hold a fundraising event in your community to support the Old Rectory. Perhaps a sponsored hymn-sing would be appropriate!
• Speak to the person who deals with charitable giving at your place of work and ask whether your organisation might consider supporting Epworth Old Rectory.
• Leave a legacy in your will to support the work of Epworth Old Rectory.
