Your Visit

We are delighted that you would like to visit Epworth Old Rectory. You can be assured of a warm welcome. All visitors receive a guided tour led by a trained guide. Tours usually take around 1 hour. The guides will show you around the house and tell you the stories of the Wesley family. Please feel free to ask questions. If there are more than ten people in your group, please contact us in advance to book in. Children have the opportunity of dressing up in 18th century costume for the tour. Please ask your guide at the start of your tour.

The Old Rectory Shop

  • The Rectory shop stocks Wesley biographies, items relating to the house and a range of goods and souvenirs linked to the house, its history, the Wesley family and to the Physic garden.
  • The shop is open at the same times as the house but sales by telephone and email are welcome. We accept all credit and debit cards (except American Express) and card details are read by our secure server. All sales will be confirmed by email or post.
